A benefit of membership is the option of home delivery of the club newsletter, the Tar Heel Tailings, one copy per household. Some members prefer to read the newsletters on the Internet rather than receive newsletters via U.S. mail. If you wish to start or stop newsletter delivery to your household, you may send a request to the newsletter editor by U.S. mail or by e-mail:

Certain positions are elective offices as described in the by-laws of the club, while other positions fall somewhere between volunteer and appointive roles. To learn more, come to a club meeting or contact one of the club representatives. Elections are held annually, at the November meeting of the club. Volunteering is always welcomed. The club depends entirely on the goodwill and efforts of its members.
